Making the right choice. Hard?
Making the right choice. Hard?
Choosing
the right computer is one of the biggest disputes in the tech industry. Do you
want a PC or a Mac. There are both positive and negative aspects with both of
these choices. Various factors will influence your choice such as cost, your
needs and the performance needed.
We
can look at a few of these factors.
Compatibility:
PCs are well known for their customizability. This is a very important aspect for many people as they can adjust the PC to their needs. Many businesses prefer customizability.
"Arm-based Windows devices may
have limited customization options compared to traditional x86 PCs.”
Performance of the computer:
There are many options when it comes to performance.
The PC gives users the ability to change and upgrade many parts such as, Ram,
CPU, Storage… This freedom stops when looking at a Mac. The Mac is prebuilt
with specific components inside and not customizable.
Apples has an advantage:
When it comes to the hardware side of thing Apple does
has an advantage. “Apple is
known for its attention to design and build quality”
“Consumers often
praise Macs for their sleek and elegant design, premium materials, and
high-resolution displays.”
Battery performance:
Apple has developed new and reliable batters giving
much better performance. “Macs
using Apple’s custom Arm-based processors have demonstrated impressive
performance gains and extended battery life.”
Software:
Apple places a
high priority on simplifying the software that users work with. Many users
prefer this as the learning time is reduced. Whereas with windows there is
quite a lot to learn, nut when you have learned these features your choices
will be endless.
Price:
The MacBook’s and iMacs are prices at a high rate.
This price is in place due to the simplistic usability that theses devices
offer. If you are more on a budget, I would recommend looking at PC instead of
a Mac as you can chose how much you want to spend.
The choice between Mac or PC will have many different
factors some of which has not even been listed here. All these factors will
depend on what the users needs will be. This debate between which one is better
will never end as all humans are fundamentally unique in the way that we
reason.
