How Tech Is Making Our Kids Smarter




There has been an eternal debate over the last few years with regards to our kids becoming smarter through tech or perhaps the opposite. Studies have shown that cognitive ability of our kids is increasing, in fact this cognitive ability has been increasing since the 1930’s. So, the question is as follows is tech making your kids smarter or is it making them think that they are smarter thru the use of the internet.

 

More information has been available than ever before.

Trying to get your kids to do any homework or study has been a large pain for most parents. Now kids are doing these activities on their own as it has become easier to do them through places such as google. Kids no longer have to go to the library for information as they now have a library in the palm of there hand which can answer any question in the blink of an eye.

Due to the sheer wealth of information that is available to kids should be enough to convince you that kids are indeed becoming smarter.

 

Studying is more fun.

The process of studying used to be quite boring for kids, but now thru all the means available to us kids are finding that studying has become fun. You don’t have to sit in front of a big book all day. Now you can study through images or videos on websites such as YouTube.

Kids can also use systems such as games with historical detail in them to study or thru interactive devices such as Virtual Reality software.


No doubt about the change.

Exam results of student have been climbing up as well as the fact that more people are graduating with higher certificates.

These examples are but a few examples that can be used to show that our kids are in fact becoming smarter thru the use of technology.
